upper deck series one will be out mid to late Nov as normal. With rookies and some of this years draft picks in as young guns. as for Tims im not sure but my guess is they would still do that also.so far everything is normal and will come out when around its normal time as they have in the past.

UD is forging ahead with Series 1 at the usual time frame. There are expectations that they will have exemptions from the NHLPA that will allow them to include Lafreniere and potentially Byfield & other top draft choices.
Tim Hortons - we never really know until we see the first ad.Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

I hope Upper Deck releases a Tim Hortons set again this year. Great for the growth of the hobby! Such a fun, important release. Plus, it's always fun snagging some cards with a morning coffee!

I believe I had heard that the contract with Tim Horton's was for five years. So I'm not sure if there will be another TH set this year

I'd be surprised. McDonald's stopped doing the cards, because they decided to end "premium" promotional items. Happy meal toys are okay, but they don't want to sell anything other than food.
If the Tim Horton's was a 5 year deal, and it's up - I suppose it's just a matter of "does Tim Hortons think it was good for business?".
Thinking about it from their side - did the cards lead to an increase in sales? If it did, then they probably bring them back. If it didn't, they probably don't bother.

Does Tim Hortons make any money off the sale of the cards, or do they just make money off the extra beverages bought with the cards?

tims cards have released at the exact same time every year (roughly 3 weeks into september) which has come and gone - so I'm fairly confident there's none this year

Keep in mind that we are in unprecedented times. They're still running the promotion with the stick lockers, so things are on a bit of a flexible schedule.
